Mapeamento das monografias acerca dos jogos e brincadeiras na educação infantil: refazer caminhos metodológicos.

Abstract

This work is an exploratory bibliographical research, by carrying out a survey at the Maria das Mercês Ferreira Mendes Sector Library, of the Teacher Training Center, of the Federal University of Campina Grande, campus Cajazeiras/PB, coming from the Pedagogy course. The interest in carrying out this concerns the understanding that games and games in Early Childhood Education are essential for the development of the child and we have the following problematizing question: what contributions do the monographs written by students of the Pedagogy course at the Teacher Training Center of the Federal University of Campina Grande, Cajazeiras/PB campus, during the years 2013 to 2023, with a theme of games and games, has to offer educators, considering their work in the classroom. The general objective was centered on the following expectation: To understand the academic production of monographs carried out at the Teacher Training Center, at the Federal University of Campina Grande, Cajazeiras/PB campus, about games and games in Early Childhood Education. In specific objectives: map monographs from the period 2013 to 2023 that specifically deal with the use of games and games in Early Childhood Education; reflect on whether the construction of these monographs has contributed to the understanding of games and games, as they favor the teaching and learning process of children in the classroom. In the methodology, we carried out a search with the following descriptors: “games and games” and “playfulness in Early Childhood Education”, to find out how many works were available in the Library. We found a total of eight monographs that dealt with the theme of games and games in Early Childhood Education from 2013 to 2023. Finally, we saw that the monographs presented to the Pedagogy course offer us theoretical and methodological support to think about playful activity, as proposer of new learning, capable of making the child feel part of the school, further increasing their creative capacity and providing socialization with other children.
