dc.description.resumoEste Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como propósito comparar a versão em Graphic Novel de Paraíso Perdido (2019) de Pabblo Auladell com o cânone de John Milton, um poema épico de 1667 que narra a queda de Satã do céu, referência direta ao livro de Gênesis da Bíblia Sagrada. Para tanto, foram utilizados como base teórica, os escritos de Irina Rajewsky (2012) referentes à intermidialidade, e para analisar a sequência de imagens e delimitar as características referentes à arte sequencial apoiamo-nos em Will Eisner (1990; 2010). O conceito da intermidialidade apresenta-se como uma ferramenta de análise, a qual viabiliza a observação de diferentes tipos de mídias e a equivalência de significados entre seus elementos constituintes. Além disso, os estudos relacionados a sequência de imagens, são de suma importância para orientar a leitura e análise dos aspectos gráficos da obra. Desse modo, compreende-se que, através das análises realizadas, é possível alçar novos olhares sobre esta formas de reprodução de arte, para visualizar a densidade e complexidade desta poesia transposta através da aquarela de Pabblo Auladell.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThis Course Completion Work aims to compare the Graphic Novel version of Paradise Lost (2019) by Pabblo Auladell with the canon of John Milton, an epic poem from 1667 that narrates the fall of Satan from heaven, a direct reference to the book by Genesis of the Holy Bible. For that, the writings of Irina Rajewsky (2012) regarding intermediality were used as a theoretical basis, and to analyze the sequence of images and delimit the characteristics referring to sequential art, we rely on Will Eisner (1990; 2010). The concept of intermediality is presented as an analysis tool, which enables the observation of different types of media and the equivalence of meanings between its constituent elements. In addition, studies related to the sequence of images are of paramount importance to guide the reading and analysis of the graphic aspects of the work. In this way, it is understood that, through the analyzes carried out, it is possible to raise new perspectives on this forms of art reproduction, to visualize the density and complexity of this poetry transposed through the watercolor of Pabblo Auladell.pt_BR
