Hoje, o Nordeste se caracteriza pela pobreza e o sofrimento de um povo castigado por problemas naturais, como por exemplo a seca, e problemas de ordem política e social que só dificulta a situação econômica da região.
Abstract:	The Northeast was the first Brazilian region to demonstrate flourishing in the Brazilian economy. Today, the Northeast is characterized by poverty and the suffering of a people punished by natural problems, such as drought, and political and social problems that only complicate the region's economic situation.
