O espetáculo do terror: apoteose revolucionária no nacional- Socialismo (1925-1939).

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the National Socialism movement and its revolutionary apotheosis. The theme selection arose from the necessity to understand the classification of Nazism as being a right-wing, left-wing, or even another type of political movement. For this purpose, the document analysis method was utilized when dealing with the sources, which consisted of documents available on the German Propaganda Archive website, of the Calvin University institution. In the theoretical field, the chosen aspect to continue this research was political history. In addition, this work was also based on important books that deals with the subject of study, written by authors such as philosopher and political scientist Hannah Arendt and Karl Mannheim, as well as others that complemented the discussion. As for temporality, the research was limited to the interval between 1925 and 1938, in the space that corresponds to Germany. Therefore, in order to show an unusual narrative, in face of the current scenario of discussion, Nazism was worked from a perspective of a revolutionary movement that disrupted traditional German society and rebuilt it as a new civilization, based on the Nazi worldview, from a true deification of his revolution, as well as principles of collectivism and cult of personality.
