dc.description.resumoO contexto do presente trabalho busca dialogar acerca do desenvolvimento da cidade de Sousa no sertão Paraibano, dentro de uma perspectiva discursiva historiográfica evidenciando o crescimento da cidade dentro da região sertaneja, focando no que a historiografia aborda sobre esse desenvolvimento, ou seja, como ela vem sendo passada ao leitor. Quais os fatos, os atores desses acontecimentos, assim como aborda a criação dos Institutos Históricos, englobando os aspectos políticos, sociais e econômicos que alavancaram e engrenaram a fundação por definitivo da cidade. Em meio ao burburío que rondava o interior do Brasil em meados do século XVIII, tentaremos entender a cidade em seu ideal de criação, partindo do ano de 1730.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThe context of the present work seeks to dialogue about the development of the city of Sousa in the Paraíba sertão, within a discursive historiographic perspective evidencing the growth of the city within the sertanejo region, focusing on what historiography approaches about this development, that is, how it has been passed on to the reader. What are the facts, the actors of these events, as well as the creation of the Historical Institutes, encompassing the political, social and economic aspects that have leveled and geared the foundation for the city's finality. In the middle of the buzzing that surrounded the interior of Brazil in the middle of the eighteenth century, we try to understand the city in its ideal of creation, starting from the year 1730.pt_BR
