| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O controle do processo de secagem de grãos em camada fina é baseado na curva de secagem do produto, obtida pela pesagem da amostra periodicamente. O modo mais freqüente de se fazer esse controle é, quando necessário, retirar a bandeja de grãos do secador e levá-la até uma balança, para determinar a quantidade de água que foi retirada do produto, por diferença de massa. O processo apresentado neste trabalho traz como solução para essa atividade, a colocação da bandeja de secagem em um sistema de pesagem, monitorada por meio da coleta de dados de uma célula de carga. Os valores obtidos são armazenados e comparados com os valores finais pré-definidos para o processo de secagem. Quando não houver diferença significativa entre os valores medidos e pré-definidos, encerra-se o processo. |
| Abstract: | The control of thin-layer drying process is based on the drying curve of the product, obtained by periodically weighing of the sample. The most frequently way of doing this control is to take the sample out of the dryer and periodically weigh it on a precision scale, to determine the amount of water lost by the sample during the drying process, by difference of weigh. The solution presented in this work is based on a load cell to construct a weighing system that can be automatically monitored and controlled by a computer program, and the samples weighed automatically. The results are recorded in a file and compared with the final pre-defined values for the drying process. The process is terminated when there is no significant difference between the measured values and the predefined ones. |
