Um guia pedagógico para o ensino de Sociologia mediado pelos contos de Lima Barreto.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the possibilities of using the short story genre as an alternative for reflection and discussion in sociology classes in high school, based on the identification of themes present in the short stories of Lima Barreto (1881-1920). The relationship between literature and sociology was presented as possibilities for study and theoretical and didactic deepening, relating the theoretical historicity between these two fields of knowledge. Research was carried out on didactic works in the discipline of sociology to relate them to the alternative use of literature as teaching support. We sought to identify a collection of Lima Barreto's short story production to understand the availability of materials by the Rio writer at school. Short stories are made up of brief narratives and can serve as a tool to support the practice of reading, writing and textual interpretation, and also have potential for identifying themes and relating them to the author's social, political and economic context. We present the characteristics of Ima Barreto's militant literature and the way in which it is presented through critical and ideological writing that denounces the social problems of his time. We suggest the construction of a Pedagogical Guide as an alternative for teaching sociology, we highlight the daily life and narratives of the writer from Rio de Janeiro and, through themes, organize proposals for teachers in presenting the contents of the sociology discipline.
