Estado da Paraíba, encravado na região do semi-árido nordestino. Apresenta um escasso potencial de recursos hídricos superficiais, evidenciado pela temporalidade de seus cursos d'água e pela disponibilidade insuficiente de água em reservatórios de pequeno e médio porte, condicionados por fatores como o baixo índice pluviométrico. de distribuição espaço-temporal bastante irregular, e a elevada taxa de evaporação. A partir dessa condição natural limitante. evidencia-se de modo crescente a exploração dos recursos hídricos subterrâneos, formados pelo sistema aquífero cristalino, que representa toda a área de estudo. |
| Abstract: | The area object of this research encompasses the entire territory of the municipality of Boa Vista. Paraíba State, wedged in the northeastern semi-arid region. It has a scarce potential of surface water resources, evidenced by the temporality of its watercourses and the insufficient availability of water in small and medium size reservoirs, conditioned by factors such as low rainfall. very irregular spatio-temporal distribution, and the high evaporation rate. From this limiting natural condition. There is increasing evidence of the exploitation of groundwater resources, formed by the crystalline aquifer system, which represents the entire study area. |
