Formação de tradutores de Libras em uma pesquisa-ação com grupo focal : elementos da estética da Libras na tradução de um livro infantil

Abstract

In Brazil, the bachelor's degree training in Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) is scarce, especially in case of literary translation made by LIBRAS translators, the default is a problem. Therefore, in this research, we have as the general objective: to analyse the academic training for LIBRAS interpration in a lecture cycle focusing on the aesthetics of Libras and its impact on training in the translation of children's literary work ‘Maria vai com as outras’ (Orthof, 2002). With the intention of actualizing this purpose, we formulate the following specific objectives: 1) To develop with the profissionals a study about the children' s book and video interpreting. 2) To identify the professional profile also the pratical and theorical kwonledge in juvenile literature of Libras translators from UFGC-CG, UEPB-CG e IFPB-CG about Aesthetic Literature in Libras; 3) To take notice their choices about the aesthetic elements for the production of the video interpreting work in view of the implications of new knowledge in the process of constructing the translation based on the training of the TILSP on children's literature that happened in the lecture Cycle;4) To analyse the literature ‘Maria vai com as outras’ Orthof (2002) translation. Utilizing a qualitative approach (Moreira e Caleffe, 2008), the action research (Bogdan e Biklen, 1994) happened ina focus group (Gondim, 2002) based on Literature in Libras and its aesthetic (Sutton-Spence, 2021) and in the role of Libras translator (Rodrigues 2018; Valente, 2011; e Santiago, 2012; Laguna 2015; Bartolomei, 2021). The results were that specific training in the scope of literature and literary translation contributes to awareness with translations of children's literature written into Libras, but changing and improving literary choices demands repertoire and continued training in the area of literature.
