Gênero, geração e raça: uma análise interseccional das trajetórias de militância de mulheres negras jovens feministas.

Abstract

Young black feminist women in a scenario of political dispute in the city of Maceió composes the center of this research. The study aims to understand how the militia trajectories of these women were constructed with the feminists groups of the city. The specific objectives were 1) identify the convergences and divergences between these trajectories; 2) understand the conceptions of resistance and politics built by young black feminist women; and, at last, 3) analyze how young black feminist women think the intersectionality of gender, generation and race within the political spaces that they act. In order to reach these objectives, the semi structured interview tool was used, which, together with the observations made in the field, were thought and analyzed from an intersectional feminist bias, supported by the contributions of black feminism, local knowledge and of pesquisarCOM method. The body of the material – composed by the transcriptions of the audios of the narratives – was examined from some assumptions oriented by the content analysis. From this, three categorical axes of analysis were constructed in the discussion of the results. These are: a) Trajectories of militancy: approximations and distancing, which dealt with the processes of recognition as a young black and feminist woman. b) Conceptions of politics and resistance: senses, articulations and affections, in which aspects that approach politics and resistance to strategies of survival, to black feminism and to empowerment were discussed. c) Gender, generation and race: intersectionalties and feminisms, which turned to think the limits and potential of feminist movements, questions of representativeness and new demands. Through this research, we hope to contribute for the tensions and disputes within the feminist movements to be analyzed from the processes of oppression and exclusion, which are result of the intersections between different social markers of difference. In addition, we want to collaborate to strengthen the production of a more qualified debate on the experiences of young black women in the sciences.
