dc.description.resumo	A partir da matriz de coeficientes técnicos produzidas pelo Instituto de Economia Agrícola, de informações fornecidas por fabricantes de máquinas e equipamentos e de fontes bibliográficas, este trabalho avaliou o custo energético da produção agrícola de milho na safra 2005/06, no estado de São Paulo para dois sistemas tecnológicos: plantio convencional e direto. O dispêndio energético total no plantio direto é 30% menor que no sistema convencional. Avanços na redução do custo energético deverão ser provenientes da substituição dos nutrientes químicos por adubos orgânicos, rotação e/ou consórcio de leguminosas bem como pelo uso do biodiesel.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstract	This work evaluated the cost energy of the maize production of in the state of São Paulo, harvest 2005/2006 for two technological systems: conventional tillage and no tillage. From the matrix of coefficients technician made by the Institute Agricultural Economics, about information supplied for manufacturers machines and equipment and bibliographical sources. The total energy spend in the no tillage system is 30% minor who in the conventional tillage system. Other advances in the reduction of the energy cost had must come from the substitution by the chemical fertilizers nutrients for organic seasonings, rotation and/or trust of leguminous as well as for the use of biodiesel.	pt_BR
