Desempenho da alface cultivada em ambiente protegido e a campo.

Abstract

The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance of two cultivars of lettuce cultivated in different environments, in experimental area, at the Federal University of Campina Grande, Campina Grande-PB. The experimental design was completely randomized, with four treatments and six replications, thus making twenty four experimental units. To evaluate the performance of the cultivars, the variables of growth, production and physiology of the cultivars were analyzed at 21 days after transplanting and agrometeorological variables were monitored daily. The data were submitted to analysis of variance by the F test (p <0.05) and those that obtained a significance difference, a test of comparison of averages was performed through the Tukey test at the 5% probability level. According to the variables in the study, the cultivar Regina presented better performance than the red Mimosa and in relation to the environment, the greenhouse was the one that provided the best development conditions for the cultivars when compared to the production of the same in the field.
