| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Para pequenas bacias hidrográficas, onde, geralmente, não existem séries históricas de vazão, a estimativa da vazão fluviométrica de projeto pode ser feita a partir do resultado da análise de chuvas intensas na região. Um dos elementos importantes dessa análise é a definição dos padrões de distribuição temporal das chuvas intensas que possam servir de referência para o desenvolvimento do hietograma da chuva de projeto. Considerando que esses padrões ainda não são conhecidos para Cascavel, PR, o presente trabalho teve por objetivo determinar os padrões de distribuição temporal das chuvas intensas, empregando o método de Chicago. |
| Abstract: | For small watersheds, where series of measured discharges usually do not exist, the estimate of the design flood flow can be made by using the results of the intense rainfalls analysis for the region. One of the important elements of this analysis is the definition of the intense rainfalls temporal distributions patterns that can be used as references to the development of the storm design hyetograph. Considering that such patterns are not available for Cascavel, PR, the objective of this study was to determine the intense rainfalls time distribution patterns, following the Chicago method. |
