| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito de diferentes lâminas de irrigação na cultura de melão (Cucumis melo L.) cultivado em casa de vegetação. O experimento foi conduzido na área experimental do Departamento de Engenharia da Universidade Federal de Lavras, em Lavras/MG. A cultivar utilizada foi a Vereda, variedade Inodorus, e a irrigação da cultura foi por gotejamento sendo aplicada quatro lâminas, com freqüência de dois dias. O controle da irrigação foi feito através do tanque classe A reduzido (ECAr),e as lâminas aplicadas foram equivalentes a 0,5*ECAr, 0,75*ECAr, 1,0*ECAr e 1,25*ECAr. Cada tratamento de lâmina de irrigação foi composto de 3 linhas, e com oito plantas por linha. Foi considerado planta útil as seis plantas da linha central de cada tratamento. As características avaliados foram o peso médio, o diâmetro longitudinal e transversal de seis frutos colhidos das plantas úteis de cada tratamento. Nenhuma da características avaliadas foi influenciada significativamente pelas lâminas de irrigação aplicadas, mas o tratamento irrigado com lâmina equivalente a 1,0*ECAR apresentou maior peso médio e produtividade. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this study to evaluate the effect of different irrigation depths on melon growing in greenhouse. The experiment was conducted in an experimental area of the Engineering Departament of the Universidade Federal de Lavras, Lavras/MG. Melon (Cucumis melo L., var. Inodorus, cv. Vereda) was drip irrigated, in a two days interval, with four different depths. Irrigation depths were computed using a four different fractions of the evaporation depth observed on a reduced class A pan evaporimeter (ECAr): 0.5*ECAr, 0.75*ECAr, 1.0*ECAr and 1.25*ECAr. Each irrigation treatment was applied to three plants rows, each one containing 8 plants. Only 6 plants located at the central row of each treatment were used for measurement. Evaluated parameters were: average weigth and fruti longidutinal and transversal diameters. None of the evaluated parameters were significantly affected by irrigation depth. The highest average fruit weigth and yield was observed on the treatment receiving 1.0*ECAr. |
