dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de lâminas de irrigação sobre o desenvolvimento da alface crespa, em ambiente protegido na região de Lavras (MG). O experimento foi instalado em casa de vegetação com delineamento em blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 2 x 4, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos constituíram-se de duas cultivares de alface, Verônica e Hortência, e quatro lâminas de irrigação, 75, 100, 125 e 150% de reposição de água. Os resultados permitiram concluir que as duas cultivares de alface apresentaram a mesma tendência com relação ao consumo de água durante o ciclo de produção; maior massa fresca (total e comercial), plantas com maior número de folhas e maior massa fresca de folhas foram obtidas com a aplicação da lâmina de irrigação de 240 mm (121,2% de reposição de água); o teor de matéria seca de folhas reduziu-se linearmente em função das lâminas de água aplicadas.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThe present work was intended to evaluate the effect of irrigation depths on the development of crisped lettuce, in protected environment in the region of Lavras (MG). The experiment was set up in greenhouse with randomized block design in 2 x 4 factorial scheme, with four replicates. The treatments consisted of two lettuce cultivars, Verônica and Hortência, and four irrigation depths, 75, 100, 125 and 150% of water replacement. The results enabled to conclude the two cultivars of lettuce presented the same trend as regards water consumption throughout production cycle; higher fresh mass (total and commercial), plants with higher number of leaves and higher fresh mass of leaves were obtained with the application of the irrigation depth of 240 mm (121.2% of water replacement); the dry matter content of leaves reduced linearly as related with the water depths applied.pt_BR
