dc.description.resumoO objetivo deste trabalho é simular as percentagens de perda de produtividade de frangos de corte criados em galpão climatizado em função da combinação fatorial da temperatura de bulbo seco (tbs) (30 e 35ºC), umidade relativa (UR) (45 e 65%), velocidade do ar (V) (0,3, 1,2 e 2,1 m s-1), resfriamento evaporativo (ER) (40, 60 e 80%) e densidade de alojamento (DA) (14, 16 e 18 aves m-2). As perdas de produtividade ao longo do comprimento do galpão foram determinadas por meio do índice ambiental de produtividade para frangos de corte (IAPfc), tendo como dados de entrada, valores de tbs e UR no interior do galpão preditos por um modelo de transferência de calor e massa, além das Vs adotadas nas simulações. No geral, o efeito benéfico da combinação de altos valores de V e ER foram verificados sobre o ambiente interno do galpão, enquanto o aumento da DA e UR aumentam moderadamente as perdas de produtividade no galpão.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThe goal this work is to simulate the loss productivity percentages of broiler chickens grown in acclimatized housings as a function of the factorial combination of dry-bulb temperature (tdb) (30 e 35ºC), relative humidity (RH) (45 e 65%), air velocity (V) (0,3, 1,2 e 2,1 m s-1), evaporative cooling efficiency (CE) (40, 60 e 80%) and loading density (LD) (14, 16 e 18 broilers m-2). Production losses throughout the housing were determined by the environmental productivity index for broiler chickens (EPIbc), having as input data, the tdb and RH values inside of the housing simulated by a heat and mass transfer model, in addition to the Vs adopted in the simulations. In general, the benefic effect of the combination of high values of V and CE were verified into the housing internal thermal environment, while the increase of LD and RH moderately increases the losses productivity into the broiler housingpt_BR
