Abstract

The environmental comfort is one of the requirements to maintain a good productivity, passes to be fundamental to guarantee a welfare degree. The environment, today considered, is not more only the thermodynamic, the interaction between the environment and the gas production, dust and noises, is fundamental when the effects of those elements are enlarged in the animals acting. The present work presents as objective, the swine vocalization study at the maternity by interpretation attempt, registration and analysis of the animals vocalization with the stress indications monitoring purpose at the swine industrial production. The experiment had beginning with the study of the gilts and piglets vocalization, at the maternity. It was verified through a sound graphic representation, the sounds frequency emitted in each instant, compared with other sounds, being possible the behavior interpretation of each animal.
