Efeito da aplicação de dejeto suíno líquido sobre a fertilidade de um solo cultivado com café.

Abstract

This research was carried out in two different location in coffee tree plantation sites located in São Miguel do Anta, State of Minas Gerais. The experiment consisted in colecting soil samples at three soil layers, in two different sites of the coffee tree plantation. One of the coffee tree plantation site a standard cultivation has been carried out, and in the other site a weekly irrigation was applied during four months, by sprinkling liquified swine manure. Physical and chemical analysis were maid using the soil samples. The results showed that the pH and the levels of aluminium, copper and iron in the soil did not change when the swine manure was applied. On the other hand, the levels of the nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese and zinc increased in all soil layers studied. The level of sulphur increased in the two upper layers.
