Este trabalho descreve o processo de modelagem e desenvolvimento de um modulador Mach-Zehnder para ser usado em um transceiver optico de 56 Gbits/s. Simulações comparativas foram realizadas de acordo com as referências obtidas durante a revisão bibliográfica. Os resultados desses testes foram promissores, indicando a precisão e adequação funcional do dispositivo.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractIn this report, the activities carried out by the student Lucas De Oliveira Lobo during the supervised internship at the Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Laboratory are described. This work details the modeling and development process of a Mach-Zehnder modulator to be used in a 56 Gbits/s optical transceiver. Comparative simulations were conducted according to the references obtained during the literature review. The results of these tests were promising, indicating the precision and functional adequacy of the device.pt_BR
