Ressocialização como objetivo do sistema prisional brasileiro.

Abstract

This work had been motivated starting from the study on the true objective of the prison system applied in Brazil, as well as the problems faced by the prisoners to carry out their penalties in a fair and worthy way due to the terrible infra-structural conditions of the brazilian prison establishments. The empiric-inductive method had been used, starting from consultations of the doctrine, newspapers, websites and articles, we will formulate our present work. The work now analysed brings a report of the brazilian prison system since its origins till the present time. It tells the difficulties of the penitentiary system in proposing to the prisoners what the law guarantees them, as well as not achieving its main objective. We will also consider the possible solutions for the problem, with the work as a learning form for the prisoners not to relapse again out of the prison, a better juridical attendance for his right of the regime regression be respected and an understanding by the society in offering to the exprisoners an employment opportunity. With this work, It is sought a popularization of informative data regarding the inefficacy of the freedom depriving penalty in the brazilian penitentiary system in achieving its basic purpose, thus, the conclusion of the present work will result in verifying that the prison system nowadays is inhuman, but with the participation of the society and our rulers' sensibility, we will significantly be able to improve the penitentiary system, lamentably used today at our country.
