| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | A associação entre as frequências alérgicas de três locos microssatélites próximos a genes candidatos e a contagem de carrapatos, avaliada por infestação artificial, foi investigada em fêmeas da raça Nelore e cruzados com Angus, Simental e Canchim. Correlações positivas e significativas (p<O,05) foram observadas para o alelo 2 do marcador ILSTS054 e alelo 7 do marcador BL4. Os alelos 3 e 5 do marcador BL4 apresentaram correlações negativas e significativas (P<0,05) com a média de carrapatos em pelo menos uma infestação. Esses resultados deverão ser investigados em um número maior de animais a fim de verificar a correlação do genótipo marcador é com resistência ou com origem racial. |
| Abstract: | The association between allelic frequencies at three microsalellile loci closely linked to candidate genes and tick counts, evaluated by artificial challenge, was investigated in Nelore and in crossbred Angus, Simental and Canchim x Nelore cows. Positive and significant correlations were obtained between tick counts and frequencies ofa1lele 2 oflLSTS054 and ofa11e1e 7 ofBL4.
